US101 North in Monterey County

Here is San Ardo and Mile 263. The oil refineries here were cut back in capacity in 1987 thanks to then lower gas prices. The first photo is is from April 1995 and the next two photos are from March 1986.

This is north of San Ardo in March 1996, and the speed limit has been 70 MPH through here since 1997. San Ardo was initially San Bernardino and it was renamed to be San Ardo.
