Looking at Junipero Serra Peak in the Los Padres National
Forest.
These mountains can be seen more closely in Arroyo Seco. This is
from
April 1995 by Paris Valley Road. Arroyo Seco means dry stream in
Spanish.

Here is US101 near San Lucas in August 1995. San Lucas means Saint
Luke. When I did this ride it seemed a long way from the Bay Area to Los
Angeles through here. Also Mission San Antonio de Padua is west of here.
US101 is not built close to all the old Spanish missions.
