198 is also known as Dorris Ave. in this part of Fresno County. I
have only done this highway once, and I only did it up to 99. Parts of
it are a freeway. It is being worked on East of 99. Eventually it runs
into the Sierra as a slow road. Just East of I5 on 12/25/2001. There are a lot of stores by I5 and
198.
Of course I5 runs through no cities between Northern Los Angeles and
Stockton
other than Kettleman City.
The sky was clear when I did this near I5, but I was in tule fog the rest of the way until 99.
