Traver
Mile 106 in March 1997.
This 10 mile long grove of Eucalyptus trees is as close as 99 gets to being scenic anywhere in California.
Before the Speed Limit was raised in 1995, this stretch used to get slow for no reason.

[99 South]

The grove of trees goes on.
About Mile 104
This stretch of 99 is 5 lanes wide (2 southbound lanes, 3 northbound lanes. The northbound lanes were 99 when it was a regular highway in the 1940s and 1950s.)
