I5 South in Merced and Fresno Counties

Looking towards the East Valley. This day had clear visibility  for the most part, except for a dust storm over by the Sierra foothills. This is from November 1997 on a smog free day.

This is after 165. You go over a crest and can look over most of the valley. There was a large brush fire in these hills in 1996 and it was caused by an illegal tire dump that was on fire.
