The Bailey Avenue Exit off US101

This general project is to help the Cisco campus that is proposed by Bailey and Santa Teresa Boulevard, and this project had been a dotted line on the map since the 1970s.
These are all from 2/2/2005, and it was a very pretty day for this ride. There is a stop sign at the east end of the interchange, and here you go over US101. The light in the distance is at the western end of the interchange. Metcalf and Malech Road can also finally be access by following Bailey Avenue east of US101.

This is the Bailey Avenue Exit right off US101 North (Exit 377) and this is about the time it opened.

This had not been open long when these were taken. Loma Prieta is in the distance. This part of San José is not currently populated much.

The second bridge is before Monterey Highway here. Bailey Avenue did not exist before through here.

This interchange to Monterey Highway was not 100% done when this was taken on 2/2/2005, and this project had been years in the making. The road ended here temporarily and was detoured onto Monterey Highway. Bailey Avenue was later rerouted a little north of the old route at Monterey Highway. This was taken at a time when this area was in a pretty season.
