87 South (Guadalupe Parkway)

I'm leaving these old photos up because of user demand from Wikipedia's link to me about Highway 87.
This photo is from October 1988. Mainline 87 ended here for years.

Here is 87 South at 280 in October 1988 at 280, where it ended until October 1992.
Note the end of the pavement and center divide in the foreground.

Here is 87 South in May 1988.
Here 87 ended for a few more years. Mainline 87 today continues on. Note the lack of completion of the pavement between the open part of 87 and the interchange south of here.
The interchange was completed in 1967, long before the rest of 87. At the time it was built, it was probably one of the nicest interchanges in the Bay Area. Only one problem is that it was not opened completely until 1992.
