Interstate 805 North in San Diego County

This set is from July 1989. It has changed a bit in places since then, but overall California highways haven't been built much since 1973.  Here is 805 North Approaching I8. Note how tall the other overpass is right before I8.

Here is 805 North at I8 and this is a huge interchange.

Note how the mainline of the highway towers over the rest of the interchange. 680 at US101 maybe be taller overall, but as far as the height of a mainline highway, this is probably one of the tallest in California.

805 North at 52. 52 now goes much farther east than it did in 1989 when this set was taken.
