This is where 152 gets notably steep. This has been heavily used by commuters since about 1993.

152 East is in a fairly tough climb here. Most 18 Wheelers can only do 25 mph up this grade.
These hills sometimes get snow in cold winters. In El Niño years they get extreme rainfall. There is a big grade right after this photo.
