US89 North in Arizona and in Wyoming

This first photo is from my great grandmother in September 1953. Oak Creek is south of Flagstaff. It was US89 back then. It is AZ89 today. It is in the national forest. This is from a family photo album.

US89 in Arizona

Unfortunately I only have one picture from Wyoming on US89. This is Salt River Pass on US89 and the elevation is 7610 feet. This is taken in the Bridger-Teton National Forest in April 1998, and this is between Geneva and Smoot. This ride was wild because one minute it was clear, then it would sleet, then it would snow, and then it would be clear again. This is Lincoln county.
