This is in the Caribou National Forest. The nearest town is Alpine, Wyoming. This in Lincoln county.

A snow storm is on the horizon here, and this photo is taken where US26 runs through the Caribou Mountains, in the Caribou National Forest. Idaho Falls is in the distance. On a clear day you could probably see Twin Falls and Burley from here. This is in Bonneville county and Ririe is the next town.
