US30 West in Idaho

This is US30 between Lund and Soda Springs.
This was several hours after leaving I80 in Wyoming. Making this trip is a long and lonely one, but it does go through a lot of scenic mountains. There is a pretty steep pass in Western Wyoming on this route near the state line. This section was submitted to be an interstate but it was rejected. I have relatives out here. This is from 7/24/2000. It is 213 miles from I80 to Pocatello via this route to I15. It is 188 miles from I15 to I80. It is 111 miles from I80 to the Idaho state line. US30 does bypass Kemmerer. The Fossil Butte National Monument is near Kemmerer.
