US101 South in Ventura County

This is by Del Norte Blvd or about Mile 59. It was slow here this day. When I did this in 1986 there was little out here compared to what is shown in this photo from 2008.

This is about Mile 56 or Factory Stores Drive. After Oxnard there is flat land a while until Conejo Grade. Also this is north of Oxnard.

These two are of US101 south in March 1986. The highway was being widened here.

This is near Dawson Drive or Exit 53A. You can see Conejo Grade in the distance. This used to be a four lane freeway. Two of the lanes were from the original highway.

This is Mile 52, by Pleasant Valley Road and Santa Rosa Road. This has been a freeway since I have first done it in 1981.
