These first three are from 7/5/2001 and this is about Mile 81. There is a bike lane here and also not all this section is a freeway by the pier.

This is about Mile 80, or near Santa Barbara Avenue / La Conchita. The pier was not showing up very well this day. The freeway has changed little out here since I first did it.

The following photos up to I405 are from 9/20/2008. This is by California Avenue at Mile 78. I had done this for years and it was never slow here before 2008. This section is a freeway.
