US101 South in Santa Clara County

This area gets slow at rush hour because I880 is coming up shortly.

This is the 880 /US101 interchange. The loops were practically a death trap. Now they're much better, but this kind of interchange really needs a fly over or two. I personally have had to make a loop 5 times just to be able to have a chance to merge onto US101 South from 880 South!

This interchange approach was improved quite a bit around 1996. 880 used to be Highway 17.
