US101 South in Santa Clara County

This is between Blossom Hill Road and Bernal Road (and 85 North). US101 is 8 lanes wide, with a diamond lane, through here. The 85 interchange is right after this. The Measure A widening project ended here around 1990.

This is approaching 85, which opened in 1994. The original flyovers were built in mid 1994 and the new carpool flyovers are from about 2003 - 2004.

This is looking into the 85 freeway corridor. The sound wall to the right is where the new US101 South to 85 North flyover will be built. Loma Prieta is the mountain in the distance. Note the old walnut trees along Monterey Highway. There is a ramp from US101 South to 85 North being built here. This is old but I will leave it up to show what this area used to look like.

This is US101 just south of 85, after US101 was widened around 2003. The overpass for 85 was built in April 1994. The carpool lane overpass was done around 2004 - 2005. This is from 9/16/2004.
