This is from 2/2/2005. Coyote Creek Golf Drive used to be Scheller Ave. This sign is new because the Bailey Avenue interchange opened in 2005.

[US101 North]

This is from 2/3/2006. The concrete is from 2003 and the asphalt is from 1997. This interchange was not here until 1987. This section of freeway was supposed to be six lanes wide at first. El Niño storms damaged the freeway in the early 1980s during construction and it was only four lanes total when it opened in 1984.

This is at Coyote Creek Road (formerly Scheller Ave, which opened in 1987 and it does not lead to Santa Teresa or Monterey Highway.) Taken April 2004. Coyote Creek exit photos

The hills along this stretch of US101 aren't very green very long, unless it is an El Niño year. Traffic moves so much faster with the two extra lanes that  opened in 2003.
