Here is a set of 99 signs at the Freeway Entrance of Central Avenue
and 99, in Málaga, in Fresno County. This is one of the first
safe
exits
south of 180 in the Fresno Area. 99 was formerly US 99. This is
from August 1995.
This one is unlike anything I've ever seen. On Felter Rd (an
extension
of 237 outside Milpitas) you'll see a text sign warning you to ride at
your own risk, then this one.
This is a warning sign for a disintegrating road. Taken in October
1995, this road did suffer during the El Niño years. Felter Rd
is two lanes
wide and 35 mph. It turns into Sierra Rd, which is one lane wide and 10
mph.
Michigan Freeway to Freeway Signage
Michigan uses large arrows that show which lanes exit and which do
not exit.
Actually this is where three freeways meet.
Michigan 5, I275, I96, and I696 meet here. This is from October 1999.
California's Interstate 5 Shield, from April 1988.
