Hale Avenue North and Santa Teresa Boulevard North

This is before Live Oak Avenue. Really old signs on US101 used to list the mileage to it.

This is by Miramonte Avenue and a gigantic mushroom farm. This place usually reeks. I rode my bike by here in 1988 and didn't know what the stench was!

This is San Bruno Avenue. Out here you get some glimpses of Monterey Highway and US101 to the left. Also, the hills to the right are greener longer than those to the left.

This is Palm Avenue. The road changes names here and for this tour it is Santa Teresa Boulevard from here on up into San José.
