I5 South in Merced County and Fresno County

This is I5 South in March 1997. The hills are green here but that does not last all year.

This is I5 in the hills of Merced County. It is steeper north of 152 than here.

The Sierras barely show up on this photo from 1995, during the Summer, which is almost a miracle. They're 150 miles away and a lot of the time you can't see ten miles away in the summertime.

This is south of 152 in the Springtime. I5 isn't a scenic route in the valley, though it does have a few nice overlooks in the hills, and in the spring the hills are green (not for long in most areas, however.)
This is by Billy Wright Road, which does not have access to I5.
