I215 North in Riverside County, California

I215 is four lanes wide and 70 MPH at first after leaving I15. It is surprisingly rural south of 60 East. This is formerly US395 (the route to Reno and Carson City), I15, Temp I15E, I15E, and California 215.  Like Highway 85  and a nearby section of I15, this highway was not finished for a long time.  From Perris to 60 East, it had many at grade intersections. Unlike Highway 85 and I15 in Norco, it was an existing divided highway turned into a freeway.

This set is from February 24,  2002, when Southern California had a drought, and it basically looked like fall never ended. The horrid interchange of I215, I215, 60, and 91 has been redone since these were taken.
