Santa Teresa Boulevard / Hale Avenue Construction
This springtime set is from April 25, 2021. This project has been proposed since the 1960s in Morgan Hill. It was almost built around 2012. The state ended redevelopment agencies then and that is what was going to pay for it back around 2012. This time in 2021 the construction is from Main Avenue to Spring Avenue. This corridor was pretty much cleared out since at least the late 1980s. This section will be done in 2022. There are sections between Spring and Watsonville Road that are open but they are not the final project. The final four photos are by Spring Avenue. This is taken facing north by De Witt and Spring. The project ends right here. De Witt south of here is in the Hale corridor. A bad curve was taken out just south of here about 2015.
