G4 / Montague Expressway North

These are from 6/6/2009, on a very pretty day, from US101 to I680. The speed limit is 45 MPH and there are carpool lanes the whole way. The only G4 sign I saw was at I680.

This is the start of Montague Expressway at US101. I was surprised at the view of the mountains from here. I'd hardly ever been on Montague Expressway and never did all of it before.
 


The expressway is eight lanes wide for a while after US101. This is by Lafayette Street, and there is a bridge over the railroad tracks.
