G21 West / Capitol Expressway

These are from 1/19/2013, on Capitol Expressway from I680 to 87. This expressway was to continue on to turn into San Tomas Expressway by Highway 17. Capitol Expressway was built in 1978 except for the part near I680. Also Capitol Expressway does not turn into Capitol Avenue.
This is at I680 and this is the start of Capitol Expressway. It was built in 1997 to Capitol Avenue.



This is before Capitol Avenue and there is a diamond lane here. The speed limit is 45 MPH.



This is a mile past I680 and this is by Story Road. Capitol Expressway from here onwards was built around 1978.



This is just past the last photo.



This is before Ocala Avenue and this is by Reid-Hillview Airport.
