G21 East / Capitol Expressway

These are from 1/19/2013, on Capitol Expressway from Almaden Expressway to I680. This section does not appear to have G21 signs officially on it any more in the Capitol Expressway Auto Mall, though it used to. This expressway was built in 1978 except for the section near I680. The last part was done in 1997. Also Capitol Expressway ends at I680 and it does not extend onto Capitol Avenue. It was proposed that Capitol Expressway and San Tomas Expressway would turn in to each other.
This is from Almaden Expressway. It is the Capitol Expressway Auto Mall until 87. There are no G21 signs until past 87.



This is before Pearl Avenue.



This is one mile past Almaden Expressway. This is at 87.

Also the speed limit is 50 MPH after this. This is called Capitol Expressway after this point.



This is by Copperfield. This is one mile past Almaden Expressway.



This is by Vista Park and this is two miles past Almaden Expressway.
