99 North in Kern County (former US99 and US466)

This is Mile 23 and in southern Bakersfield more or less.

58 is the next exit (Exit 26A.) Both 99 and 58 might be turned into interstates. 99 becomes 70 MPH again at Mile 28. 58 West is slow past here and some signs recommend alternate routes.
58 East

[99 North]

This is by Mile 29 and Highway 65 is next. Highway 65 is not continuous throughout California. This is leaving town.
This was also US466 in the past, up to 46 West.
