87 South (Guadalupe Parkway)

This section was 55 MPH until around 2007. This part of 87 was open by 1988 or so.

The carpool lane is recent but this part of 87 is older than the rest.

This is by Park Avenue and San Carlos Street. 87 North has express lanes but 87 South does not. The freeway bridges to the left are the oldest. Highway 82 no longer exists south of I880 also.

This is just before I280. Highway 87 ended here until 1992 and in 1993 it was opened to 85.

The freeway used to end here until 1992. You had to take the exit to I280.
