87 North (Guadalupe Parkway)

This is for my old photos of 87 North, and I am keeping these up because a lot of my traffic comes from Wikipedia's article on Highway 87, and I've had people write me who are curious about this highway. This is from November 28, 1987.

This is by the new bridge over Julian Street and St. James Street.

This is near Hedding. The freeway was built to the left and it was built high up. This was under construction starting in 1999.

This is between Hedding and I880. The freeway was done around 2004.

This is Guadalupe Parkway closer to I880.

This is right before I880. This shows the early days of the light rail line.

This is 87 over I880. An interchange was never built here and this set of overpasses was taken out. A new set of overpasses was built in the late 1990s. The San Jose Airport is in the distance.
