Highway 85 South in California in June 2021

This trip was from 6/27/2021. This was my first time to do this ride after the SCU fire burned the Mount Hamilton hills. They were not destroyed utterly though they do look different. Maybe a third of the trees are gone. These are taken between Union Avenue and Cottle.

These two ridge lines are above Gilroy and did not burn.



This shows Pine Ridge which is above Morgan Hill. It is in Henry Coe State Park. A huge fire line went through the areas that are yellow high up in the hills in this photo.
