Monterey Highway Northbound (Former Highway 82)

These are all from 5/30/2009, of Monterey Highway from Blossom Hill Road to downtown San José. This highway was signed as 82 for a very long time until 2013. This highway was bypassed around 1942 by Bayshore Highway. I originally had maybe two photos of this stretch up at all in all the years my site has been online. This route is actually signed with Highway 82 signs. This section was widened in 1990.

This is at Blossom Hill Road, which is or was G10 to the west, and this interchange was done around 1980. The speed limit drops from 55 MPH to 45 MPH here.

This is by Chynoweth Avenue or Roeder Road.

Right after that is Capitol Expressway (G21.) The interchange was built before 1980 or so.
