I580 East in California

This is from 12/25/2004, and this is taken at North Greenville Road. This part of 580 has been this wide as long as I have been driving it. 84 West. 84 has been changed recently in Livermore. I tried doing it once to I680 in 1993 and it was a slow road back then in Livermore. This is by Mile 51. In 2018 I was pretty surprised to find out I had distant relatives living out here in the 1800s. I am going to be out here more so I will get more pictures of this area. 84 has a new interchange with I580 and it is on an expressway south of here for a few miles. It will be widened at some point to I680. 84 East has a gap for a while north of here.

This is only about one mile later, but the fog is gone here. This is where I580 starts climbing.

These two photos are from 4/12/2008, and this first one is 13 miles east of I680.

This is 14 miles east of I680, on 4/12/2008. This is the start of the climb to Altamont Pass, which is around the bend. North Flynn Rd is the exit at the summit. The freeway is eight lanes wide here, and it needs to be that wide.
The windmills are right after this.
