Highway 17 South in California

This is 17 South of Highway 9. Note the very old guardrail. It isn't a freeway much longer after this point.
The rest of this set is from December 1989 and shows the damage that Highway 17 sustained in the Great Quake of 1989.

17 just past the Cat's Restaurant. Note the patched asphalt and the jersey style barrier with a tall fence to the right. That is from quake damage and quake repairs. The divider was repaired in many, many spots.
