US95 and the Amargosa Valley

The green circles are irrigated farms by US95 in the Amargosa Valley. The faint line shows US95. The photo points to the north. To the right is the Nellis Air Force Base gunnery range. On the middle of the left edge of the photo is Grapevine Peak and Death Valley is in the photo to the left. Beatty is just about an inch to the right of the left edge in the photo. Coaldale and Tonopah are above there. This was from 11/11/1999. I could not figure out where exactly this was until now. I knew it was something unusual when I took these photos. Amargosa Valley is formerly Lathrop Wells. It is in Nye County. Amargosa Valley is super hot in the summer.
