US101 South in Santa Clara County

This is approaching Highway 25.

The interchange with 25 being built in here 1989. Santa Teresa Blvd will be extended down to this interchange, and once that is done it will be easier to get to Gavilan Junior College. 25 also was signed as 25 with California Highway 180 until 1984. Of course 180 is proposed to run westwards again, but not quite this far. You can eventually reach 180 by taking 25 to J1. The interchange with 25 was built in 1989, and it was a dangerous intersection before then.

After 25 you enter a 1940's vintage section of US101. This is from 4/26/2011 up to 156 East. These two are from right after 25 on US101 South.
