US101 North in Ventura County

This set is from 7/10/2005. This is just inside Ventura. I should have gotten more photos of this back then. There is more traffic in this photo from 2005 than I saw when I did this in the 1980s.

This section has been widened in Ventura. This section in 2005 was quite a bit busier than it was in the 1980s.

US101 is still three lanes wide each way through here.

Mile 72. This is by the beaches. The freeway has cliffs on the other side of the beaches. La Conchita means "the little shell" in Spanish.
