US101 North in Santa Clara County

This is approaching the Hellyer Exit.

Here is US101 North at Branham Lane.
This is from 2/19/2009, and here you see a treat of a view of the snow on Mt. Hamilton in the distance. The hills are green here a few months out of the year, but the snow is a rarity.

Prior to about 1990, this part of the San José area had an extremely rural feel to it.

This is the Hellyer Ave exit. The bridge ahead used to be four narrow lanes, and was widened in 1988.
