This is the 8th Street light in Downtown Gilroy. 152 used to run along different surface streets before the freeway was built.

This is just past 10th St, which becomes 152 East. After this Monterey Highway is basically 45 MPH. It ends about a mile later.

This part of Gilroy is less crowded than downtown. A few motels were added in the late 1990s here.
