J1 West / Panoche Road (Proposed 180) in San Benito County

This is all from Christmas day 2009. I had been on this road a lot but never on a holiday. There was "traffic" on it that day. I am surprised these galleries are getting visits because I already had "regular" galleries of J1 and 180 since the 1990s. The hills were definitely going green when this was taken. This runs from ten miles east of Highway 25 to Highway 25. There were actually people visible from the road this day.

The landscape starting about here briefly almost looks like it belongs in the Great Basin.
