This is a pretty tough climb for trucks and some cars. This area definitely receives heavy snow storms in the winter.

This is climbing Emigrant Summit, which is elevation 6114', and this grade is usually harder hit by snow than the one just before
it.

cold in the wintertime. This is the Emigrant exit.
