Interstate 75 North in Michigan
These are from Kevin Weed from August 2016. I have been out here
in the past.
The entrance ramp onto I-75 from where 23 ends at the Mackinaw
Bridge.

View of the Straits of Mackinac looking East from the
bridge.

Crossing the straits. Little known fact about the bridge....It
takes 7 years
to paint the entire bridge. When painting ends at the end of that
7 years,
they start again.

Approaching the north tower. Note the grated inside lane. The
point of the
grates is to let the air flow through thus making the bridge more
easily
capable of handling high winds.

That's the upper peninsula out there. The bridge is tolled
and the toll plaza
is on the north side.

Pulling out of the toll plaza.
