Interstate 75 North in Michigan

Welcome to the Upper Peninsula. This is the most prized vacation spot in Michigan. Most people live in the South part of the state and vacation here. Houses are very cheap here. The tax structure is different than "down state" and they don't salt the roads here. The U.P. receives heavier snowfall and is much colder. It is predominantly evergreen forest.

I'm not positive where all these were taken, my notes were lost in a hard drive crash and have yet to be recovered.
They're roughly from MI 28 (Mile 386) to Mile 394, in the Sault Ste. Marie area.
