This is merging onto I5 from 99. 99 is in the center of the photo and I5 merges to the right, with trucks to the right of that in a separate lane from 99 South. I5 South of here was US99 to Los Angeles years ago. This is at Mile 220.

This is at Laval Road or Mile 219.

This is by the weigh station, or about Mile 217. I5 is still in flat land but not for long.

Right after this the two directions of I5 split apart. This is just past a huge IKEA distribution center. This pass probably is worse than Donner (I80 in California) but is only half as high in elevation at the end.
Mile 216
This is just before the long climb to the Grapevine. I5 is up high until past 14.
