I5 South in Shasta County

These are all from Trevor Carrier from late June 2011. I have done this ride only once and I'd love to see it myself again if I get the chance. This set runs in Shasta County. This is an extremely pretty ride. There was an expressway section of I5 in this county until about 1985. The last photo on this page is 5 crossing Shasta Lake. The median splits off and the northbound lanes are almost at lake level, and the southbound lanes are about 300 feet up. I5 in sections of Shasta county looks like I80 in the Sierras.
