Cat Photos

I thought of adding a cat photos section for many years. I just did not put them up. There was no big reason. These three photos are scanned from negatives of photos from October 1996. They look better than the original photos even though the photos were really good.

These three kittens showed up with their mom and they were really wild. They all ran off a second after I took this. The middle cat is fighting with an all black runt cat in the bushes. Their names were Jerry, George, and Elaine. The mom ate at our house a while and we thought it was a male kitten. We found out the hard way it was female when we saw a kitten gimping around behind it one night. George had been fighting so much with the other kittens that she was favoring one leg. They all had red eyes from rough housing with each other. A cat related to them named Kramer was over every once in a while.

My current cat is related to these cats. He looks a lot like this cat here does. This is George. At first we figured George was a he. George was high strung and she spun around in circles one time in my window until the screen popped out.

This is my current cat. His name is Bootsie. He will bite if he is pet more than about 90 seconds. He was so hyper a vet told us to spray him with water when he starts biting. Also he flips out if other cats are in the yard. Also at least once a day he acts like he is trying to bury his food bowl by scratching the floor by it. He is related to the cats shown above and the cat below these two photos.

This is from January 2017. I think he was hyper at this moment.

This is a female cat in my neighborhood that is related to the cats I have had. This photo was hard to get. She looks almost exactly like my current cat though she is a lot smaller than he is.

This is from 3/12/2024 of the same cat.

This cat lives at the same house. I do not know his name. They have had a bunch of cats that are related living there for years. He kind of seems like one of my cats and they are related. This is from April 2020. There was a female cat here that had a litter of kittens once a year. They acted like the cats I have had.

This is the mother of the kittens and another black cat named Ronnie. They are related. She was named after Donald Schanke from a TV show called Forever Knight. We thought she was a he at first.

This is the mother of the kittens. They were not friendly when they were outside.

These two photos were taken in August 1996. George takes a nap with her mom briefly. Then they ran off after I took the photo.

Jerry took off after this photo was taken. From 2002 to 2004 I saw a cat a lot like him.
