99 North in Tulare County (former US99)

Here is 99 south of Traver, and this is just past Goshen.
About Mile 95, near Avenue 304.
Here 99 goes through miles of Eucalyptus tree groves and it is three lanes wide northbound and two lanes wide southbound. It goes on like this until a few miles north of Traver. The northbound lanes used to be US99 when it was a two lane road. This was from March 1997, a few months after California increased the rural interstate speed limit from 65 to 70.
