88 West in Nevada

I had considered doing this drive years ago, but assumed it was a slow road and never had enough time to try it. These are from 4/30/2001 and December 2004. This is in Douglas County.

88 is here in Minden, Nevada.
This is just past US395.

Four miles past US395. This looks like it is in California but it is not.

The Donner Party crossed the trail that is cut across the side of the mountain. This is about five miles past US395.
