Monterey Highway Southbound (Former Highway 82)

These are all from 3/28/2014, of Monterey Highway from downtown San José to Blossom Hill Road. This highway was signed as 82 for a very long time until 2013. This highway was bypassed around 1942 by Bayshore Highway. I originally had maybe two photos of this stretch up at all in all the years my site has been online. This route was actually signed with Highway 82 signs. This section was widened in 1990. This ride seemed fast this day. It was about six miles long.

This is just past Alma Avenue.

This is south of Phelan Avenue. The speed limit becomes 40 MPH.
