This is about Mile 44. A plane was over the freeway but it isn't easy to see.

This is very close to LAX. I listen to KFI 640 AM to hear traffic when I drive this route.

Here I405 is at Manchester Blvd or Exit 47. There was a Route 42 sign still here in 11/2008. Route 90 was proposed to run to 91 in Yorba Linda. Also Route 170 was proposed to run down La Cienaga Boulevard and there was room left for the La Cienaga Freeway at the La Cienaga interchange with I405. Route 170 was to end at LAX.

The carpool lane ends as of 11/2008 at La Tijera, or about Mile 48. I405 is crazier from here to US101.
