355 North in Maryland

This is headed north on Route 355 in the northern part of Gaithersburg.

This is after Gaithersburg, and nearing Germantown.

That large tree is one of the oldest trees in Maryland, well over 100 years
old. When they widened this portion of 355 from a two-lane road to a six-lane
road back in the 90s, they made sure that they wouldn't have to cut down that
tree.

Up ahead is the intersection with Middlebrook road.

This is continuing north on 355 in Germantown. All of those houses and
condos the left weren't there five years ago.

This is the intersection with Route 27, which is to the right. To the left
is Father Hurley Boulevard. Shortly after this, 355 becomes a two-lane road.

This is in Clarksburg. The brown building on the left is the new Clarksburg
High School, one part of this quickly growing community.
