Interstate 205 East

This is where I205 and I580 split apart. Route 239 was supposed to have met them at this interchange as well.

These three were taken at the Patterson Pass exit in October 1996. You can see the Sierras really easy at sunrise, but not normally during the day, unless its the day after a huge storm and the smog has been blown away. This used to be US50.
According to Joe Rouse in misc.transport.road, I205 will be widened from 11th Street to I5 starting in the summer of 2006. The speed limit is 65 up to Tracy. It used to be 70 after that, but it is now 55 there because of road work.
